4. Fiscal Year:
The fiscal year shall be the calendar year beginning January 1.
CANON 2.
STEWARDSHIP & MUTUAL SUPPORT
Stewardship Policy:
1. Individual Support:
On an individual basis the C.A.C.F. adheres to the concept of New Testament giving
of 2 Corinthians 9: 7-8 “Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give,
not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to
make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need,
you will abound in every good work.” (NIV)
2. Church Support:
A. Each member community forwards $5 per person, per month and $10 for each clergy
member to their respective diocesan office,
B. Each diocesan office then in turn forwards this amount to the Church.
C. The Church uses the funding toward the development of member communities across
the nation, as well as in the production of C.A.C.F. publications for both evangelism and
the edification of the saints, our support of home and foreign mission efforts as well as for
covering the operational cost of the Church’s collective ministry. Church communities who
may be unable to participate in the program should contact the Archbishop so that an
exception can be made as needed.
This C.A.C.F. Mutual Stewardship Program enables the Church to direct available funds to
those areas of the Church where they are most needed when they are most needed as well as
lightens the financial burden of ministry today for those able and dedicated C.A.C.F.
ministers & their ministries in service to our Lord Jesus Christ.
