TITLE V – OF AMENDMENTS TO THE CANONS

CANON 1:
CHURCH COUNCIL FOR CANON REVIEW
The Archbishop shall appoint a Church Council for Canon Review. The membership, terms,
policies and procedures for this council shall be under the terms and conditions set forth by
the Archbishop who serves as an ex-officio member of the council.

CANON 2:
COUNCIL REVIEW AND SUBMISSION
Any suggestions or concerns for revisions to these Canons must be submitted to the
established Church Council for Canon Review. The Church Council for Canon Review will
forward recommendations and concerns to the Synod.

CANON 3:
REVIEW AND VOTE
Amendments must be introduced at a regular HOB meeting, and voted upon at a
subsequent regularly scheduled meeting of the Synod. Amendments shall be adopted on
unanimous consensus of the next meeting of the Synod.

In such a case that any proposed amendment shall be deemed “urgent to the welfare of the
Church” by a majority vote of the Synod in session such an “Amendment to the Canons of
the Church” so introduced may be voted upon and adopted by unanimous consensus of the
synod within the same session of the Synod.

ADOPTION AND SIGNATURES
On this, Monday the 22nd day of October, of the year of Our Lord 2007, we the Ecclesia, in
concert with the assembled communicants, of the Church of the Ancient Christian Faith did,
hereby adopt and present these Ecclesiastical Canons as a guide for our Church; to be
observed under the loving care of the episcopate with full dependence upon the Holy Spirit,
asking for God’s blessing on the endeavors of all His people working together to build His
kingdom now and forever more.
